New Years

Its been a few days since Alfred took you in as being your father, now it was getting close to the New year 2013 "Daddy, Daddy!" you run and jump to him "yes, what is it <Name>?" you smile happily "Did you know that it will be New Year's eve tomorrow?!" he smiles big back at you "Yha of course dude!" you keep jumping up and down just so excited for the new year "What will we do for it?!" He picks you up, throwing you up in the air a bit then he catches you in his strong arms "What do you want to do Dudeit?" your face went from happy to thinking hard "Hmmm…I really don't know daddy"

Your father thinks for a sec then his eyes beam "Oh I know <Name>!" he smiles more "We can go to down town New York for the Ball drop!" your <e/c> eyes beam. "Ive watched that on T.V but I've really never seen it in real life" he ruffles your <h/c> hair  "Then well be going tomorrow <Name>" Your arms wrap around him tightly "I can't wait!" he chuckles and hugs you back, Alfred has never felt this happy before. He didn't want to lose you his Christmas miracle. "Okay <Name> Its Bed time"

you pudge your cheeks out "but I don't want to" he sighs "But if you don't, you won't be able to stay up to midnight  tomorrow" you still didn't want to "I said no" you get up and run off somewhere in the house "Hey <Name>!" Your Father runs after you. One thing Alfred didn't know is that you didn't like taking no for an answer. You hide under the table "he won't find me here" you whisper softly to yourself, soon you see two pairs of feet enter the kitchen "<Name> I know you ran in here, now come out"

you giggle lightly as he tries to find you "Come on <Name> if you don't come out, ill make you eat Veggies" you gasp loud at that which made you jump and hit your head on the table making a loud 'THUD' sound "owwww! Daddy!" Your father quickly lifts up the cloth, revealing you and the tears rolling down your face "oh <Name>" your father frowns and signals for you to come to him "Come here Sweety" he reaches his arms out to you as you crawl to him "I hit my head daddy"

He wraps his arms around you letting you cry in his arms, he ever so softly rubs where you hit your head "Shhh, its okay. I know it hurts" Your tiny hands grasp his soft shirt. "<Name> you got to be more careful, and next time lesion to me" you cry in his arms "but I didn't want to go to bed, I wanted to stay up" he lightly shuts his eyes listening to your crying, waiting for you to calm down. Finally you calmed down enough "Would you like for me to tell you a story?"

You lift your head to where your eyes meet his blue ones "What kind of story?" he lightly smiles "Ill tell you, if you agree to go to bed" you huff again but you wanted to hear the story, so you agreed "okay fine" he picks you up and brings you to his bed room again laying you down "What story are you going to read me daddy?" (Story time XD)  he smiles " Once there was a young princess who ruled the snow kingdom, she had everything but one thing." You cut in "What was that one thing?"

"That one thing was a handsome young prince, so she set out into the town to find her prince, but none of the boys in the town suited to her. So she set out to look even beyond her kingdom. Again, None of the boys seemed to interest her" you cut in once again "daddy this is sad" he puts his index finger over your mouth "Hold on <Name> its getting their" He continues " there was one place she never looked, Her own castle. The day after she got back one of the servant boys confessed his love to her, of course she was surprised by this, but after she took his words in, she chose him."

(wow…that was really crappy -_-)

You tilt your head to the side "That's it?" he awqerdly smiles at you "Yha dudeit, What did you except from your dad?" you pout "I'm still not sleepy" Your father thinks for a sec then gestures for you to lay down "Ill sing you to sleep" you get comfy in your sheets. Your father takes a deep breath singing ever so softly

"When daytime turns to night,
When the moon shines bright,
When you're tucked in tight,
and everything's alright."

Your Father singing put you in a since of comfort and love from him. "I love you daddy" you say softly.

"Slip softly to that place,
Where secret thoughts run free,
There come face to face
With who you want to be."

Soon your eyes start to close and you fall asleep into a deep sleep "Night <Name> I love you"

"<Name> Grab my hand, its dangerous out here" The both of you are not heading to the ball drop yet, its way to early. Before the sun goes down your Father wanted to go and ask if his friends would like to go with him and you "Do I have to daddy?" he looks down to you "Yes <Name> I cant lose you" you moan but grab his soft warm hand. "First we will go by Arthur's and see if he can tonight, and I would like for you to meet him" After walking for a bit the both of you end up at a big house "Is this his house?" "yha it sure is" Your father rings the door bell, soon a young man with BUSHY eyebrows answers the door

"Ello Alfred, oh?" he notices you and kneels "Hi love, what's your Name?" you cant help but giggle at his bushy eyebrows "its <FN/ Jones>" the man smirks "well my name is Arthur Kirkland, and what are you laughing at?" you couldn't hold it in "Your eyebrows! There so big!" he blushes from embarrassment "eh ehm, well she seems nice Alfred" Your father just smiles "oh yha! Dude do you want to come to the ball drop tonight with <Name> and I?"

Arthur smiles "Sure why not? I got nothing else to do" Your father's eyes beam "Thanks! We will be back around nine!" you head down the street once again "Hmm, maybe I should call him just in case" you look up to him "call who daddy?" he glances down to you "his name is Ivan, he has a last name but I can't pronounce it cause its Russian"

he gets out his Android phone and calls Ivan "hello? Oh hey dude! Hey I got a question…..I was wondering if you could come to the ball drop with me and a special little someone" you dad winks to you then nothing but silence for a sec then your dad bursts out loud "REALLY?! AWESOMENESS!!" You could hear a Russian accent over the phone that didn't seem too happy at that burst of your dads excitement"

Calm down Ivan, we will be over with Arthur around nine see yha!" your dad hangs up the phone. "If only my half-brother Mathew could come, but he's lives in Canada with his dad Francis" you question "Your half-brother?" you didn't quite get it "It's a long story dudeit don't worry about it"

(Time Skip!)

It was close to nine so your father told you to put on your warm coat and boots "okay dad I'm ready!" you yelled to him as he enters the front door "I'm ready to, let's go pick up Arthur and Ivan" he opens the car door for you "were not going to walk?" he picks you up and puts you in "We will when we get down town" you buckle your car sit as he gets in and starts the car "You ready for tonight <Name?" He starts to drive down the street "yha daddy! I can't wait" Soon he drives into Arthur's drive way, parks and honks the horn. Soon Arthur comes out in a Black jacket.

He opened the door "Ello <Name>" he smiles and looks back to you "Hi Arthur!" you say back happily" Your dad backs up out of the drive and heads to Ivan's place. "This is his house?" you say in a scared voice. The house looked old and beaten; Looked like no one took care of it. "yha, I know it's not the best looking house, but he does take care of it on the inside" your dad honks and Immediately a very tall man wearing a trench coat comes out

Ivan opens the door and sits next to you. You were sort of Intimidated by him "Previt little one" he smiles gently to you, but you avert your eyes from his violet ones "Uh hi" Alfred cuts in "Yo Ivan! This is that special little someone I was talking about, her name is <Name>" your dad starts to drive to the down town of New York "oh? Is this your Cousin?" Alfred says back to him "Actually she's my Daughter" Ivan's eyes widen at his answer "When did you-" Arthur cuts in "Long story, we'll explain later"

Ivan looks to you then back outside the window curious now. Soon the triafic started getting conjested, and your dad knew it was time to park "Looks like its time to park and walk <Name>" He finds a spot and parks, all of you get out. Your dad checks his phone "its 10:00, we got two more hours till the new year!" you start to jump up and down "Come on daddy! Lets get as close as we can to the ball drop!" he smiles and grabs your hand "sure thing dudeit!" It took about another 30 minutes just get through the first part of the crowd. "Bloody hell, this place is packed!" Arthur exclaimed.

"you think?" Ivan says back.  "<Name>, I think this is as close as were going to get" he looks down, but you weren't their "Wha- WHAT?! I SWEAR TO GOD I WAS HOLDING HER HAND THE WHOLE DAMN TIME!!!" well, you were holding on to his arm, not his hand which made you escape easily from him. You went wounder off by a sight of someone selling funny 2013 glasses. "<NAME>!" your dad yells over the corwd "Damn it, I didn't think she would wounder off by her self!"

You walk around the packed corwed "Daddy? Where are you?" you scanned for any sight of your dad "daddy.." little tears start to form in your eyes, then you feel someone pick you up witch made you yelp "Ah!" as you turn your head to see who picked you up, your eyes lock with soft violet ones.  "Your dad is worried about you <Name> you should run off like that" Ivan said to you, your eyes let out more tears "I'm sorry, I just wanted one of those glasses" he places you on his shoulders "Come on little one, lets go back to your dad" your dad notice that Ivan was gone "You got to be Kidding! He's gone to!"

Alfred started to going into a panic till he heard a fimaire voice "I found her Alfred!" He snaps his head back to the voice, seeing you on top of Ivan's shoulders "<NAME>!" he runs up to you and takes you off his shoulders hugging you tight "Don't you ever do that again! I was worried" your eyes sadden looking to Arthur over your dads shoulder "I'm sorry dad, I just wanted one of those funny glasses" he grasps you tighter "then why didn't you just ask <Name>?" your eyes start to feel with tears again "I don't know, I-" he rubs your back gently "No, it's okay <Name> I forgive you"

In that you nod your head. Another 30 minutes passed and now it was only an hour till the New Year. Timed passes slowly as all of you enjoy the entertainment being played by Known singers of America and such. "fifteen more bloody minutes" Arthur said to all of you "hey <Name> want to try to get even closer?" he places you on his shoulders "yha!" your dad looks to the other two "Dudes you coming with <Name> and me?" they both shake your head no "Its okay Alfred, you spend time with your daughter" Ivan agreed "Da. You should, go have fun" your dad smiles and turns around going deeper into the crowd.

As your dad inches his way through, you see a man that looked familiar to you, but you tried to ignore it but it was too late "<Name> is that you?" your dad stops and looks to the man who said that, He had your eyes, and he seemed to look like you but of course a man "who are you?" he smiles greatly "I'm so glad you found my Daughter <Name>" Alfred's eyes widen "Wait don't tell me?" the man steps forward "I'm sorry I left you <Name> see I told you someone would find you" your dad backs up one step "Now, come home with your Father" you look to your real Father, then your daddy

"But-" Alfred cuts in "it's okay <Name>" he glares at your father in anger "Why did you leave <Name> out in the cold like that, she could of died!" Alfred looks deep into the man's eyes, he could see no scene of caring in his eyes. "She was miss behaving, and I couldn't handle her so I just left her out on the streets hoping she would die, so 'they' could take her home" Alfred's eyes were filled the most anger and hate for this man "You, and you want to take her back?! For what?!"

Your hands tighten around your dads neck at the feeling of his anger "Daddy?" you say sadly 'If only Arthur and Ivan where here, I could really give this man a talking you' You felt your father take a big sigh "Look I'm sorry but you can't take your daughter back, I already took her in and called her my own" the man smirks "oh really? <Name> who do you want to stay with more?" you look to your real father then down at Alfred your daddy "I, I want to stay with my Daddy!"

your arms wrap around Alfred's neck tight. At that the countdown to the New year began "15!" the crowed cheered. "She made her decision now please leave" your Dad said calmly to your other dad "12!" Your father didn't say one word he disappeared into the crowd. Then you felt little tears on your hand "huh? Is it raining?" "5!"  Your dad smiles and turns you to face the ball drop "You ready for the New Year <Name>?" Now the both of you, Including Arthur and Ivan that were off somewhere else in the crowd were counting down.

"3…2…..1…." as the clock hit zero all of the crowd yelled "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Fireworks start to the feel the air plus confetti; you reach out and try to catch it in your hand. You didn't see it but your Dad was crying from Happiness and relief that was overwhelming him. He lifts you off of his should on to his hip.

"Happy new year <Name>" he smiled to you with tears streaming down his face. You notice the tears "Daddy why are you crying?" he lifts you up more so your face is close to his. His tear stained face rubs softly against your soft cold face "its nothing <Name> Your daddy just loves you so much, I love you" In that you wrap your arms around his neck tight "I love you to Dad" Alfred was so happy that he found a Merical that made his year end in the wanderlust way.
